TabTrader raises a $5.8 million Series A round led by BitMEX Ventures

TabTrader, a mobile application for Cryptocurrency trading based in Amsterdam, has reportedly announced that it has raised more than $5.8 million through a Series A funding round, led by BitMEX ventures with participation from Spartan Capital, Hashkey Capital, SOSV, SGH Capital, and Artesian Venture Partners.

The startup has over 40,000 active users and intends to grow its 20-people team and strive towards global expansion. The enterprise would also focus on decentralized crypto exchanges’ aggregation, beginning with Orca, Raydium, and Serum, all of them being situated in Solana.

Alexander Höptner, BitMEX's CEO, stated that TabTrader transforms the cryptocurrency trading experience by helping traders handle all their trading accounts from a single dashboard. Höptner added that BitMEX and TabTrader have a similar aim of revolutionizing the crypto space, and that BitMEX is thrilled to assist TabTrader as its strives to strengthen its rapidly growing user base.

TabTrader allows people to connect to numerous exchanges and make transactions from a single application, eliminating the need to open several browser windows or exchange apps. To manage the trade, portfolio, or do chart analysis, the application supports nearly 34 exchanges (BitMEX, Binance, Huobi, FTX, Kraken, and more) including over 12,000 instruments.

Without any advertising, TabTrader has a broad community of active users. On the Apple App Store, the app has a 4.7 rating (with more than 52,000 ratings) and a 4.5 rating on the Google Play Store (with around 55,000 ratings). The TabTrader app receives high scores from users for its ease, alerts, and mobile experience.
