RubiX unveils POH mechanism to help reduce Bitcoin’s carbon emissions

The proof of Harvest Consensus Mechanism offered by RubiX’s Blockchain Green Initiative extends an enterprise-level Zero Carbon blockchain technology which is cryptographically 1,000,000 times more secure than the encryption used by Bitcoin.  

British company- RubiX, a Blockchain-as-a-Service and security solutions firm has reportedly introduced its open-source, free public blockchain testnet availability through the Blockchain Green Initiative.

For the record, the RubiX proof chain was developed on Proprietary ‘Proof of Harvest’ Consensus technology that allows cloud-to-cloud migrations that meet the need for various enterprise-level applications, like DeFi, Smart Contracts, NFTs, and Industrial-use.

Notably, the company offers a high level of security as a layer-one solution, integrated with a decentralized identity token that is split into both public and private shares. The result is a high level of security which is 1,000,000 times stronger than the encryption algorithm of Bitcoin- ECDSA 256.

As per a statement by Chakradhar Kommera, CTO, RubiX, the company aims at reducing the Carbon Emission caused by Bitcoin and other Proof of Work led blockchain mining processes, with the help of a secure proof-of-harvest alternative which is cryptographically superior to the existing blockchain technology.

Kommera further mentioned that the company’s latest offering can be adopted to democratize numerous industries and is driven by its users, not the investors. The RubiX tokens are designed for eco-friendly mining solutions without any CO2 emissions. Moreover, NFTs and Smart contracts consume more energy than the regular coin transfer technology with the existing PoW protocols, therefore there is a greater need to utilize a sustainable blockchain solution.

Seemingly, not only is the Proof Of Harvest consensus from Rubix faster but is also more secure than its competitors. It does not use dedicated power for mining and is completely environmentally friendly. RubiX utilizes minimal nodes for POH-based consensus, hence its carbon footprint is nearly zero.

At present, this London-based blockchain company handles over three million unique weekly-active industrial users, much higher as compared to any other public blockchain service provider.
