BrightChamps to accept cryptocurrency payments in overseas market

BrightChamps users can now make payments using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ether or Tether

Edtech firm, BrightChamps ­­­­­(the wholly owned subsidiary of BrightChamps Edtech Pte Ltd), recently announced the approval of crypto transactions in exchange of its services in international markets.

The platform’s recent announcement is applicable to users from Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, U.S., India, and Nigeria among other nations, allowing the eligible to pay via Bitcoin, Ether and Tether.

Earlier this month, India proposed new regulatory measures comprising of 30% tax imposition on all incomes generated through cryptocurrency transactions.

Nevertheless, since the Edtech firm’s parent company is headquartered in Singapore, it is allowing Indian users to pay for the services in crypto as well.

Moreover, BrightChamps also dragged in another Singapore-based crypto payment gateway, TripleA to deploy seamless transaction of cryptocurrencies. It reaffirmed commitment to crypto ecosystem after expanding its teams and taking over Education10x, literacy platform.

Ravi Bhushan, Founder and CEO of BrightChamps, boldly promoted the potential of cryptocurrency as the future of payments with recent announcement accepting cryptocurrencies as payments.

Mr. Bhushan hopes that BrightChamps will enhance accessibility to its offerings while aiming for a larger and diverse audience, by leveraging crypto payments.

After being instituted in 2020, BrightChamps has displayed a multi-fold growth, notably driven by COVID-19 pandemic, which dramatically normalised online education.

As of now, the Edtech firm is valued at $500 million, thanks to the rapid adoption of cryptocurrencies.

In last couple of years, multiple brands have integrated their operations with cryptocurrency-based payments, with Bitcoin and Ether ranking as the top two crypto assets for services, while Dogecoin also remains a popularly preferred crypto token.

Elon Musk-owned Tesla, movie hall chain AMC Theatres, and Dallas Mavericks NBS team owned by Mark Cuban have been some of the recent brands to accept crypto payments for some of their services in the U.S.
