Blockchain Fintech Start-Up, PAYMYNT Financial, buys LettucePay

PAYMYNT Financial, a leading U.S-based fintech start-up, has reportedly announced acquisition of an award-winning payment tech firm, namely LettucePay, which specializes in cryptocurrency payments. Effective instantly, the purchase makes it possible for PAYMYNT Financial to incorporate cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as a form of payment at major retail places.

CEO, PAYMYNT Financial, Michael Rosa stated that the firm’s platform for shopping rewards uses blockchain technology of Stellar Network. Addressing the winners of the Stellar Network Community Fund was a simple decision.

Rosa added that together the firm is all set to bring the advantages of blockchain to a much larger audience.

Introduced in 2019, LettucePay is basically a cryptocurrency app that allows merchants to settle cryptocurrency sum as USD payments, for nominal transaction fees.

Adding further Rosa stated that the team of PAYMYNT Financial would integrate the software of LettucePay with PAYMYNT Rewards, the firm’s next-gen shopping rewards platform.

In addition to the purchase, blockchain fintech start-up would also be welcoming two ex LettucePay team members, Brian Goldberg, as a Blockchain Advisor and Ari Mizrahi, as a full-stack engineer.

The new PAYMYNT Rewards app would be available for download on both the Samsung and Apple stores from Spring.
