Auto-tech firm CarzSo announces plans to enter the metaverse space

CarzSo has appointed a firm to file patents around the use of metaverse and virtual showrooms in the retail auto sector

CarzSo, the first Indian virtual pre-owned cars showroom for certified petrol & CNG used cars, is reportedly planning to fund the Web 3 infrastructure and has announced its plans for building the parcel of lands based on NFTs for introducing an auto industry-focused metaverse.

As per reliable sources, it is correspondingly planning to shift the retail auto sector to the metaverse space, and also create a gaming platform in line with the current approach.

The startup is looking forward to offering auto shoppers and owners a feature where they can mint or build virtual assets (NFTs) of their vehicles.

This will provide a digital identity of the vehicle to owners, and also help them create NFTs of their vehicle number plates, which can be traded later.

Currently, CarzSo possesses a web 2.0 presence that leverages VR and virtual showroom technologies to purchase and sell cars.

The new development will aid already existing showrooms of the firms, along with authorizing customers to buy cars virtually.

It has also appointed a firm for filing patents around the usage of the metaverse and virtual showrooms in the retail auto sector.

While commenting on the move, Vaibhav Sharma, Founder and CEO, CarzSo, said that being the first-ever virtual reality and virtual showroom-based auto-tech firm, CarzSo needed to introduce metaverse sooner than later. Seeing the current scenario and the market's traction, this is the ideal time for the same.

The firm is extremely thrilled to finally transition its vision into reality by launching the first-ever auto industry-focused web 3.0 company dealing in NFTs and meta land for the auto industry players.
